Frequently Asked Questions

Are you available for emergencies?

Vet Connection is not an emergency service. Please seek care from your regular veterinarian or a 24-hour emergency clinic if your pet is in distress or needs immediate medical attention.

What are the typical costs for your services?

  • Wellness: $250/dog and $175/cat

  • Nutrition: $150

  • End-of-life care- $150-$350

  • Remains and Memorial Products- $125 to $250

What other services do you offer, and how much do they cost?

In addition to Wellness, Nutrition, and End-of-life care, Vet Connection offers “additional visits” in which enrolled patients will have priority for appointment availability.

Pricing is based on the nature and duration of the visit. These visits can be for injuries or ailments or as additional wellness visits for bloodwork or other lab testing.

What if my pet has an injury or ailment?

If a concern arises, please reach out for a telehealth consultation. From here, it will be determined whether we:

1) Can guide you to monitor/treat the issue at home.

2) Set up an appointment for an in-home visit.

3) Or if your pet needs to be seen for urgent or emergency care by a local veterinary clinic.

What if my pet is not enrolled as a Vet Connection Wellness Patient?

Non-enrolled patients will be seen on an “as available” limited basis:

Telehealth:

  • $75 per consultation

In-Person Visit:

  • $150-$250 + cost of treatment or service.

  • $75-$100 for Rabies only (brief exam and certificate included).

Additional services are available upon request.

What geographical area do you cover?

The typical service area is within 10-20 miles of Kerrville. However, anywhere in Texas will be considered based on availability. A travel fee will occur for all services outside of Kerr county.
